Chambishi Copper Smelter Limited is a copper processing company which produces anodes and blister copper as main products, and sulphuric acid as a byproduct. Chambishi Copper Smelter uses a latest technology in copper processing called ISA smelt. In this technology a lance pipe is used to facilitate the reactions inside the ISA furnace.
At ISA Section, the feed preparation is done and later the blended materials are taken to the ISA furnace. Basically, concentrates (sulphide materials) are bought from various companies within and outside Zambia.
