CCS TIMELINE

19thJuly, 2006 – The Zambian government approved the establishment Chambishi Copper Smelter Limited

15thNovember, 2006 – The earthworks for the project began

4th February, 2007 – CCS plan was unveiled by former President of People’s Republic of China Mr. Hu Jintao and former late Zambian President Dr. Levy Mwanawasa SC. in Lusaka.

18th February, 2009 – The Company’s Blister copper production casting line was put into operation/ CCS cast its first piece of blister copper marking the beginning of the company’s production process

19th October, 2009 – CCS held an inauguration ceremony commemorating the completion of the project, officiated by former Zambian President Rupiah Banda. Shareholder representatives from CNMC and YCC were present among many other foreign and local guests

1st June 2011 – CCS began a month long maintenance shutdown

29thJune, 2012 – China Nonferrous Metal Mining Corporation Limited (CNMCL) was successfully listed on the Hong Kong Stock exchange, which owns 60% shares of CCS,CNMCL is a subsidiary of CNMC

30th, April, 2014 -The second phase expansion project was completed, with a new production capacity of 250,000 tons of blister copper and 670,000 tons of sulfuric acid
