In July 2017, the company’s “converter slag cobalt recovery” project produced the first bag of qualified copper-cobalt alloy product. we use the process of“reduction in electric furnace → cobalt matte → crushing & grinding → magnetic separation.”to recover cobalt form converter slag.The production line was designed to treat 50, 000 tons of cobalt matte per year and to produce 17, 500 tons of cobalt alloys (containing 1, 800 tons of cobalt), which indicates that the company has become the first enterprise in the world to have the comprehensive recycling technology of copper converter slag.
